What a gorgeous piece from The Economist and a wonderful deep dive from this substack! Now we just need to get big oil out of the way...
One word suffices to describe my reaction:. "Great!". The follow-up is "What's the catch?". There doesn't seem to be any! An entirely positive turning point perhaps. Human ingenuity is truly remarkable though our foresightedness is not so great.
