Amaroq is a warrior. This article is an excellent read concerning wolf battles. The statistics in the close are very important, I hope people read that far to discover them
Excellent. Long but worth the read. It would be great if more people were exposed to this information to get a better understanding of the issues and challenges involved with wolves.
Such a great and inciteful interview. I continue to learn and advocate for this species. In AZ the Mexican Grey Wolf is so mismanaged by the state and federal partners, it’s so hard to overcome the ignorance and laziness of officials and the small loud mouth minority that hate wolves or any Apex predators. It saddens me deeply, but I will continue to learn and speak up. We need to be more organized, vote and speak up. I certainly hope Colorado’s plan is grounded in science. Thank you
I understand that you are a Maine state employee. I am a Maine state retiree, having spent most of my career at the Maine DEP. You may not know that the State of Maine does not want wolves, excludes wolves from its State Wildlife Action Plan, is doing nothing to protect wolves, and is in fact, encouraging the killing of wolves by encouraging the killing of "coyotes" all of which are coyote/wolf hybrids. I'd be glad to sit down with you at your convenience to discuss the wolf recovery situation in eastern Canada and the northeast U.S. John Glowa www.mainewolfcoalition.orghttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064282555895
